My Hamill nephew had his DNA done through National Geographic's Genographic study. He is R1b1a2m269. I believe my gt.grandfather,Owen Hamill, came from Antrim,Monaghan or Down. I was always told the Irish Hamill's were a small clan and all had come from the same area. But trying to find his actual birthplace and/or his parents names has been a fruitless decade of searching. Some folks just don't want to be found! But I will continue.
