I am looking for information on W.T. Hamm, born in Alcorn County, MS. He is the father of Perry, Thomas Ocie, Annis, Laura, Zachariah and Elizabeth. He would have been born around 1840 or so. There is a Col. W.T. Hamm who was in charge of "F" Company of the Mississippi Calvary during the Civil War. I am interested in finding out if this is one and the same person. Thanks for your help.
