Jordan Sherwood Hamm born abt 1810 died abt 1855 in NC

Surnames: Hamm, Burnette
Does anyone have any info on him? I found a marriage bond for him and Nancy Burnette in Franklin County, NC in 1848. Besides that, he cannot be found. He is the father of Robert Green Hamm. I would like to get beyond Jordan Hamm, but cannot find anything more.
