Surnames: Hammer, McConnell
My great grandmother is Millie Hammer 1856 - 1956. She married Platte McConnell in 1891. September 6, 1889 or 1890 she had a son, who was born in Mt. Vernon, Lawence County, Missouri. Nothing is known of the father of the son, known as Walter Leslie McConnell (William McConnell in the service) Can anyone help find out who her first husband was?
