ZANESVILLE - Betty J. Moore, 86, of Zanesville, Ohio died at 1:50 PM Tuesday March 3, 2009 at Cedar Hill Care Center.

She was born October 17, 1922 in New Lexington, (Perry County, Ohio) the daughter of the late Clyde and Irene Blackford Hammer. Betty was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Zanesville and a retired accountant.

Surviving Betty is her daughter, Patricia Moore Cosgrave of Zanesville; sister, Janice Farmer of Zanesville; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one niece; and three nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Ralph A. Moore who died Nov. 11, 1990; and daughter, Mary Moore Dutro.

There will be no local services. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Monday March 9, 2009 at Sarasota Memorial Park, Sarasota, FL.

Bryan & Snider Funeral Home 2318 Maple Ave. Zanesville is handling arrangements for the Moore family.
