I am trying to do a family tree type thing, and I am searching for WW I information on my grandfather. I really don't have alot of personal information on him except the following.

Name: Charles R. Hamerly
Birthdate: September 10, 1897
Died: February 21, 1945

This is what it reads online on the cemetery website:

ARK PVT 2ND INF 19 DIV WWI

I am assuming that meant he was from Arkansas, but not sure. He lived in Orange, Texas until he passed away. My mother did not talk much about him to me when i was growing up because he died when she was young. Now my teenage son has shown an interest in knowing about the family's past. So, if you can help in any way, I would appreciate it. Maybe information off of a draft card, or anything else. Or a picture of anything to do with him if you can find it.
