Elisha Hammers Married Nellie Jordon ca 1819, from the New England area, who migrated to Tn when young. Not alot of info on them but there is speculation he died ca 1835. John Thomas was my Great Grandfather he had 7 children Joseph, Luzettie, Virgil, Erdie, Minnie, Festus, and Ustus.

Erdie was my Grandmother (never married), she had one son,
my father Lindell Cephas, She died when he was 10 yrs old.

I have a book called The Hammers' Of Butler County Kentucky, which has alot of information, but I'm kind of interested in tracing it back and getting more info on Elisha and Nellie Jordon.

I was always told the Hammers' migrated from Germany, I have no ideal if this is true.
