Since my last post I have determined that Catherine Hampsey's parents were Bernard Hampsey and Mary Docherty.
I have also found that the James Hampsey mentioned in the above post IS a brother to Catherine.
James was born about 1857 in Ireland and married Sarah Gamble or Gemmell in Renfrew in 1880. They had four children, Mary Jane, Catherine, Annie and Bernard.
Sarah died in 1898 in Glasgow, and James died in 1905.
