I came to Australia in 1974, born in Batley Yorkshire of Samuel Hampshire. Grandfather was Charles William Allinson Hampshire,and his father was Samuel Hampshire. I was in contact with a Percy Hampshire from Victoria in Aus. His ancestors were of a Rev Hampshire from London who came to Aus. in the 1800's.
