I am researching the surname Hampshire mainly in Kent, England. I have managed to get back to 1725, when John Hampshire my 6x G.Grandfather was born, in Lenham. The Hampshire's seem to have lived in Eastling, Lenham, Doddington, Ospringe, Throwley and Westwell. I am thinking of creating a database on the surname Hampshire, and share the data with other researchers. If you have any information you would like to share, please contact me.
