I am researching the surname Hampshire mainly in Kent, England. I have managed to get back to 1725, when John Hampshire my 6x G.Grandfather was born, in Lenham. The Hampshire's seem to have lived in Eastling, Lenham, Doddington, Ospringe, Throwley and Westwell.
