My great grandfather was Joe Hampson. His sons were Walter and Frederick. They were in the textile industry in the USA, which may support the name evolving from the word "Hemp" to "Hampson".
Our current clan is from Massachusetts with folks in FL, TX, AZ, Louisiana, and NC.
I am looking to find out the reason for the design on our family Coat of Arms "Nunc aut Nunquam".
