Surnames: Hampton/Cabb/Cobb
I'm searching for the lineage of Will Hampton and Patsy Cabb/ or Cobb, both from NC. They moved to Knox Co. KY and there they had a son named James, b. abt 1847. James had a son named John Will Hampton; John Will's son was Henderson Hampton. I'm trying to link Henderson Hampton of Knox Co. KY to my line of Hamptons. My line is fron NC., Hawkins Co. TN, Whitley and Knox Co. KY. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
