Nimrod Hamrick 2/1790-8/25/1865 Moriah Hamrick 7/1798-8/24/1868 near lexington Kentucky in 1840,Thier son George Richard Hamrick born 3/1/1840-4/03/1915 George married Celeste Wren 12/15/1843-? in the early 1860's, I have poem he wrote her. George was the youngest of about 10 or 12 siblings oldest sister named Elizabeth.They had a daughter Effie Hillian Hamrick 10/16/1870-10/24/1940, she married Ross Floyd Taylor 4/02/1882-2/23/1965 the parents of my grandmother Bernice Celeste Taylor 4/29/1911-still alive.Family tradition has it this family was related to president Adams. Can anyone out there confirm that?
