Ohio Hamrocks

As soon as I am able, I am going to try to start looking through censuses line by line, searching for Hamrocks. It's such an unusual name! Surely we must somehow be related.
Every Hamrock I have found so far (not many!) is in Ohio or Pennsylvania. Mostly around the coal mining areas during the 1870s-early 1900s. I wonder how we could find more info?
