In the Irish branch, Katie is a baptismal name from
1860 on. It was my own great grandmothers name ..I
have been searching for your Katie woth no luck so
far.Twice in the last 2 years i have seen 2 Hamrock
names on a UK website -1851 Cheshire.Whether the
nameswere those of heads of family or individual names
, Ido not know.At the moment I cannot refind the
website.i seem to remember that one of the names was
Martin, another name not in the family before !860 and
rarely since then. However I found (on Gen Connect) a
Cecelia Hamrock born in Cheshire in the nineteenth
century. This may be Katie's niece, if Cecelia is a famiy
name.My very best wiises for Chritmas to you and
yours and all on the website.
