Ivan, I am delighted to get a reply after all this time. Yes, I still have Marie's picture. The writing on the back is quite faded, so I do not think that it would scan well. I will try to write it out for you if you think you can help. What I know about her is quite limited. She and her husband Jacob came to Pennsylvania (McKees Rocks, a small town outside of Pittsburgh) in @ 1906 with their daughter Ella (Gabriella ?), my grandmother. Ella was 3 at the time, so she was born in their homeland. She always maintained that they were German and that her mother's maiden name was Ameiss (? spelling). Jacob listed Marie's maiden name as Kleurofsky (?spelling) on Marie's death certificate. And that is all I know. Marie was Catholic, but I do not know if Jacob was. I will email again with the picture info. I hope you can help. Thanks for writing!
