Emma Elizabeth Hamsher, precious daughter of Scott Allan and Jennifer Sue (Warnick) Hamsher, was born Friday, Dec. 17, 2004, at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. Emma went to be with her heavenly father on Jan. 17. at Children's Hospital and Medical Center in Seattle.

Though with us for only a short time, she touched many hearts with her tender and courageous spirit. Because of her numerous medical challenges and the uncertainty of her future, every precious moment with her was a true blessing, for which we will always be grateful.

Survivors include her parents, Scott and Jennifer Hamsher; grandparents, Donald and Virginia Wright, Selah, and Roy and Judy Warnick, Moses Lake; great-grandparents Hugh and Elizabeth "Betty" Warnick, Moses Lake and Dorothy Knapp, Spokane; aunts and uncles, Pamela Wright, Selah, Michelle and Bob Buckley, Savannah, Ga., Chris Garman, Savannah, Ga., Lisa Jenkins, Buckley, Donnie Wright, Miss., Trevor and Kimberly (Warnick) Tibbs, Moses Lake, and Rob and Heather (Warnick) Lustig, Endicott. She is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and many caring friends. Emma was preceded in death by grandmother, Bettie (Sconce) Sartin; great-grandmother, Emma Sconce and great-grandfather, Carl Knapp.

Emma's funeral was held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22, at New Song Community Church with Pastor Tim Wilbur officiating. Interment followed at Evergreen Memorial Park. Viewing was held from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, at Telford's Chapel of the Valley.
