Mr. George Hamson received word that his eldest brother, Hyrum Hamson died of dropsy on December 10th, down in Mexico. Mr. Hamson was formerly a resident of this city and was well known by the elder members of this community. He has made his home in Mexico for a number of years past. The remains were interred there.
