Surnames: Hamson ( Hampson) & Wight, Adams & Hancock, Stokes & Bodily, Hadfield & Oliver
I am a direct descendant of Joseph Hamson & Elizabeth Wilson Hamson Birmingham England to Pennsyvania USA
their son > George Frederick Hamson Sr. and Sarah Ann Smith Hamson
Birmingham to USA around Penn. then came to Utah with Pioneer wagon trains.
Their son > Joseph Smith Hamson born in Iowa Jan 11, 1848 and Roxey (Roxanna) Christena Wight Hamson born in Brigham City, Utah May 4, 1880 daughter of Lyman Wight of New York.
Their son> Stanley Hamson born May 22, 1900 is my grandfather. He died Sept 30, 1919
I have all of the history for my family line and many stories of the earlier years when they settled Box Elder Utah and the trek west with the Utah Pioneers. After they settled Utah they moved into Southern Idaho and further west into Oregon.
I would love to find more info about George Frederick's family, father, mother and siblings. Stories and photos would be greatly appreciated.
