James C. "Jim" Hanagan died March 20, 2005 at the Progressive Care Center in Canon City, CO. He was born Nov 17, 1914 in La Junta to Leo and Marie (Matern) Hanagan.
He is survived by his wife Velma H. Hanagan; daughters Jane Eckland, Joyce Hanagan, Joan Sindler; sister Elizabeth Marshall; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers Robert, C.B. "Bill" Clarence, Byron and Franklin Hanagan.
Burial in Hillcrest Cemetery, Rocky Ford. Military honors under the auspices of the Pueblo Veteran's Ritual Team.
