Michael, Martin, John Robert HANAHAN / HENEHAN

G-G-Grandfather Michael came from (unknown place) in Ire.; probably with his son, Martin (et others) abt. 1850-1870. Martin married Alice (?) and they had at least James and John Robert, who had John Robert (who was later adopted by an aunt, changing his name to Robert John Killian). Michael and Martin apparently settled in Mitchell Township near Sheboygan, WI. Can anybody make any connection to these ancestors?

John T HANAHAN / HANNAHAN / HANRAHAN

Grandfather is missing. John T. Hanahan lived in Green Bay, WI until at least 1925. He was married to Maud Anderson (12/25/1885-10/16/1925); no marriage record has been found in Green Bay or Brown County, WI. They had 4 children- Francis (b. 1915); John Robert (b. 1918); Yvonne (b. 1920); and Gloria (b. 1923). After Maud died John allowed his sister-in-law, Mae Rose Anderson Killian (sp. Arthur) to adopt all four children, and their name was changed to Killian. John Robert Hanahan was changed to Robert John Killian (my father). We have been unable to find any further information on John Hanahan. We think he worked for the railroad. The name has been spelled various ways- Hanahan, Hannahan, Hanrahan, but the original spelling is HANAHAN.
