I am also a 20 year old student , but I study in Maynooth.My family also live in Dublin , (in Templeogue).My grandfather is also called Michael Hanahoe and his grandfather was also called Michael and my name is Michael so , you have said it right our family is not the best with respect to choosing names.I know of another Michael Hanahoe , a solicistor on Parilment street , Dublin ,I dont think that he is related some how..
Are your from Dalkey,Dublin or are you the son of the housing auctioner Hanahoe , or just a cousion ? If your father or grandfather are from the west then I should know about your side of the name.I will try to speak to my granduncle Fr Hanahoe to see if your connected.
Just to let you know , the correct pronuciation of Hanahoe is Hanh-a-who from the irish spelling.
