Dear Michael
My name as you have probably guessed already is Marcus, I am a 20 year old student in the Queen's University of Belfast. My family live in Dublin and the furthest my family history goes back is to my Grandfather another Michael Hanahoe whom funnily enough has a son also called Michael, and a grandson called Michael, (as families go we are not very original when it comes to choosing names). Considering the amount of effort you have gone to judging from your knowledge of our family tree i trust you probably know of them already. I was wondoring if you could possibly e-mail me with any information you have on our family tree, i feel a little ignorant having such a unique surname and not knowing anything about it.
