I have currently become stuck at a certain point in my family tree and require some help. My grandfather is Thomas Gerard Conroy, son of Bridget Hanahoe and Denis Conroy. I have been told that I am related to Tony Hanahoe the football player from Ireland somehow but I am having difficulty making the connection.

I am assuming that Tony is the son of one of Bridgets brothers but have been unable to find a definate record for Bridget anywhere. If anyone can help at all then please let me know! The only two Hanahoe names I have heard mentioned are Tony and Bridget, I don't know much about them.
