Michael: Thanks so much for the information on Carrowgarve. I will definitely contact the Heritage Center in Crosmolina.
As for Runagry, I believe it is in Ballynahaglish Parish. I found the name Runagry under the catholic parish records for Backs. I'm assuming that it is very near Carrowgrarve as my g-grandparents (Michael Hanahoe and Ellen Coyne)were neighbors there. Both were baptized in the Parish of Backs.
I have found that my g-grandfather Michael Hanahoe's parents were Anthony Hanahoe and Bridget Joyce. I have found record of several offspring ... Catherine (b=@1861), Pat (b=@1866), Anne or Anna (b=@1868)and Michael (b=1863). There may be more ... I'm still researching. Do any of these names sound familiar?
