Dear Eileen,
You are probulary a distant relation to me
because most of the Hanahoes in Ireland today (where I live ) are related to each other in some way - I can trace my direct roots back to the 1500's where they lived in Blacksod in Bellmulit ,co Mayo .Towards the late 1600's Most of the Hanahoe moved up north Mayo to Killilla and Crosmolina where most reside today. I have never heard of your families names being mentioned , but Michael Hanahoe (Micheal O anoue - in irish) is my great great grandfather 1700 - 1870 RIP.
