Keeseville — Victoria A. Hanbury, 96, formerly of Keeseville, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, at the home of her grandson, Mark, in Columbia, S. C.
She was born the daughter of Asel and Angeline (Torangeau) LaMountain.
Mrs. Hanbury married Joseph Hanbury, Oct. 23, 1927.
The family operated a local heating oil business for many years.
Survivors include six grandchildren, Mark J. Hanbury, Martin T. Hanbury, Trudy Lynn Baron, Marla Jean Folsom, Jodi Marie Hanbury and Mari Jo Hanbury; seven great - grandchildren; three great - great - grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband; and one son.
A memorial mass will be celebrated Friday, Nov. 2, 2001, at 3 p.m. at St. John’s Church in Keeseville, with Rev. John Hunt, pastor of St. Henry’s Church in Dekalb Junction and Sacred Heart Edmonds and Missions in Russells, celebrating and Rev. Garvin Demarais, pastor, concelebrating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Hamilton Funeral Home in Keeseville.
