HANEL – Mildred F. (nee Kohler) Hanel, 81, of North Tonawanda, Monday (February 18, 1980) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. A lifelong resident of the Tonawandas, she was the wife of the Frank A. Hanel who died in 1948 and was a member of Salem United Church of Christ.
She is survived by a daughter, Miss Jean D. Hanel; a son, Maurice F. Hanel, both of North Tonawanda; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Morgan and William Sts., Tonawanda where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Richard H. Trump. Burial at Elmlawn Cemetery. If so desired, memorials may be made to Salem United Church of Christ.
