In an unmarked pauper's grave adjacent to that of my greatuncle lies one Charles Markle, b. 3 March 1868 in Wisconsin, son of Emanual and Caroline (Harnish/Hanisch) Markle (both born Penn). Charles died in the Spokane County, Washington Countyy Hospital 25 October 1931; he was a miner in the lead mines of Idaho.

It is my intention to place simple markers on all of the pauper's graves surrounding my greatuncle's. This is not a plea for help, just an attempt to re-connect Charles with his family.

Should this man be part of anyone's family on this board, I would be glad to hear from you.
