You are speaking of my Grandfather, Superior Court Judge of Hudson County, the Honorable Joseph Patrick Hanrahan. I am the son of his youngest daughter Sheila...He was respectfully know simply as "The Judge". He was a great man and I remember him well...He knew Sinatra and was named Irishman of the year in 1981 by the Hoboken BPOE, but his accomplishments as a Superior Court Judge in Hudson County were many. He did have a number of siblings and I can piece together much of our family history...His first wife (my Grandmother)Julia Frances Sedvidis, was born in Lithuania, so if you know anything about history, you know that their marriage caused quite the stir. My Grandmother interestingly was one of the first women in the United States to graduate Law School so they made quite the power couple in the 40's through 70's...
