If we are looking at the same guy, we are related through marriage. Jacob married elizabeth betzold and both were buried in edwardsville, ill. he was born 12/16/1833 and died 9/2/1891. My husband is his great grandson. I have that family tree as far back as 1594 to a balthasar hanser in wolfenweiler germany. if that portion of the family tree would be helpful, please email me and i will send it. also if you could fill me in on what you have i would be greatful.

Looking for info on Dominick Hanser. Came to Missouri from Germany, married & had 3 children. Children: Henry Dominick Hanser, Anna Theresia Conrad & Theresia Mayer.
Dominick (with his daughters)moved to Trochu/Three Hills area of Alberta, Canada after his wife died. He died in Trochu, Canada. Daughters married and moved to Washington State. Son never went to Canada, married and ended up in Turlock, California.

Their daughter, my mother, Augusta Caroline Hansor, b. 8/7/1923 in London Township, Milan, Michigan d. 12/16/1988 in Westland, Michigan m. Samuel Washington Jennings on 7/3/1940.

I think your GG Grandmother was my GG Grandmothers
sister. Her name was Harriett Driggett. Born 3/15/1859
and died 1/30/1924. She married William Hansor 10/28/1878.
Her children were Myrtle, John, Mary, Claude, Esther, Lloyd,
Ellen, Annabelle, and David Hansor. (He was my grandfather.)
I wrote to the Camden, New Jersey Historical Society. I hope
they come up with some more information regarding this family.

David Driggett was the son of William and Charlotte Driggett of Delaware. William and Charlotte were living in Romulus Twp., Wayne Co., Mich. in 1880.

Hester Ann Durham was the daughter of Elisha Durham (d. 1864) and Hester Concealor [aka Counsellor] (d. 1840) of Delaware.

William T. Hansor married Hattie Drygget [sic] in New Boston, Wayne Co., on 28 Oct 1877. Harriet was born ca. 1858/59, probably in Delaware Co., Camden Co., New Jersey. She moved with her family to Wayne Co., Mich., in the late 1860s.

I am not related. I belong to a research group that is interested in a mixed-blood community (with Native American origins) that has existed in Delaware for almost three hundred years. The Driggus family was one of the families in the community. Starting in the 1850s, a number of these families moved to Wayne Co., Michigan, where they continued to intermarry for a number of decades, before they began to marry with families outside the community. The Driggus name became Driggett after the move; some of the other family names also changed.

You will find much to read about these families at the site www.mitsawokett.com. You may wish to consider joining our research group.

Do you have information on when and where David and Hester passed away? What research have you already performed? I have extracts from census records for this family from 1850 to 1880, and some additional information from Wayne Co. birth, death, and marriage records.

I maintain a Durham web site (there is a link to it from the Mitsawokett site). The Durham name can be traced in Delaware back to the mid-1720s. Unfortunately, none of us in the research group has information on Elijah's parents, to be able to tie him back to the earlier generation of Durhams.

I think it will be fun to correspond and perhaps help each other in this search for the mysterious William Hansor.My mother cannot remember any cousins of hers, or ever meeting them, her and her brothers and sisters were mostly raised apparently by people in the church, both parents dead of causes no one knows. County of where there buried won't even acknowledge there buried there, even though my sister has seen the grave. He was a baptist minister.
