I am looking to get information regarding the female jazz singer from the early 1900's. Annette Hanshaw. I am pretty sure that her sister was a jazz vocalist as well. I am trying to see if i am related to them. I am a music producer and no one seems to know where i got the musical talent from. Both sides of my family were born in raised in West Virginia. My dad grew up in Charleston, and my mother in Diamond. My dad's name is Franklin Hanshaw, and my mom's maiden name was Renda Gail Taylor. My dad's father (Ira Hanshaw). My dad's mother (Thelma Hanshaw). My mom's mother (Jenny Taylor), my mom's dad's name (William Taylor i believe).
