Looking for information on John Hanshaw (1834-1910?) who lived in Bulloch County (Stilson), GA. He married Nellie Groover and had 13-14 children, namely Hudson, John, Isabelle, William, Laura, Alice, Eva, Benjamin, Josephine, Nellie, Bossie, and Martha. Nothing is known about his siblings or if he originally came from GA. He owned and operated a Grist and Turpentine Mill, created the Hanshaw school for his children and neighbors. All of his children were college educated and between 1910-1920 most relocated to Savannah, Philadelphia, New York and Cleveland
