Bob -- I have information on this family and have done extensive research on them over the past 10 years. He had a nephew named after him Washington Franklin Harradon (called Franklin) married to Marcella Potter Harradon (they were my g-g-grandparents). Franklin was a whaler and went to sea for long periods but Marcella stayed home in Lewiston and Turner. We have many letters they exchanged.
