I am trying to trace the HARDY family in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties in VA. to the ones in Prince George's and Charles Co., MD.

I am looking for info on WILLIAM HARDY, Jr. son of WILLIAM HARDY, SR. and wife ANN STIMPSON (STIMSON), daughter of SOLOMON STIMPSON. WILLIAM HARDY, SR. died in Prince George's Co., MD. in 1740.

In the family of WILLIAM HARDY, SR. and wife ANN STIMPSON there were among their children two sons :
(1) SOLOMON HARDY married RACHAEL LIVER...not my grandfather,
(2) WILLIAM HARDY, JR....this is the son I am trying to find info on. He was born 1722/3.

In Loudoun Co., Va. I have 3 notable deeds.
(1) 9th Oct 1770: WILLIAM GRAYSON to WILLIAM HARDY of Loudoun...130 acres on GOOSE CREEK..named wife SARAH and son HANSON HARDY and SOLOMON HARDY, JR....he is my 4th great grandfather.

I am wondering if this WILLIAM HARDY is the son of WILLIAM HARDY, SR. and ANN STIMPSON ??

(2) On the same date 9th Oct 1770 in Loudoun Co., Va...WILLIAM GRAYSON to SOLOMON HARDY of Loudoun Co...108 acres on GOOSE CREEK...named wife MARTHA and daughter ELIZABETH who later narried DAVID HARRIS of Loudoun....This SOLOMON HARDY is my 4th great grandfather. He was born in the mid 1740's in Maryland. He moved from Loudoun to Bedford Co., Va. where he died in 1825.

(3) When Loudoun County, Va was formed out of Fairfax County, Va in 1757 there was a deed for GEORGE HARDEY and wife MARY and eldest son GEORGE HARDEY, JR... The land was on GOOSE CREEK in CAMERON PARISH. WILLIAM HARDY was a witness.

Any help on obtaining info on WILLIAM HARDY, JR. son of WILIAM HARDY, SR. and ANN STIMPSON would greatly be appreciated.
