I am helping a friend find info on her gr.grandfather Rencelor b. abt 1835 prob. Or. Co. NY. He married a Margaret Gunigal b. abt 1836. They are listed on 1860 census Minisink (Wawayanda)Or. Co. NY with son Peter B. b. 1859. Rencelors father was Jonathan Fisk Harford b. abt 1808 NY.

Jonathan was prob. married to #1 Jemima Harford and #2 Julia Eaton. The 1870 Deer Park, Or.Co.Ny census shows Jonathan w/Julia and children Hiram, Lewis T., Hannah and Wm.

Rencelor is on the 1850 Minisink census living with John Carter family. Also besides Rancelor 15yrs. are 2 other Harford children Mariah 11yr and Ali (Aba) 1 yr. Perhaps Jemima died at this time and children boarded out? He is listed twice on the 1850..the other family is Wm Robertson.
Mistake??

Nearby on same census are Hiram Harford 52 w/Mary 45 and also a I. F Hartford 37yr w/ July 29yr, Peter 21 yrs. John 18. I believe that Hiram is last son of Peter b. 1758 and Euicice Harford. Peter was a Rev. War soldier and was married to Deborah Cross also. This is my Harford family.
Peter & Deborah had a John Cross Harford b.1790, my 3xgr.grandfather. He married Azubah Wood. Lived in Pound Ridge, Westchester Co. NY.
