Surnames: HARFORD, DAVIS, WOOD, PRATT
Looking for HARFORD family that migrated to Westchester Co., NY in late 1700's. Looking for parents of JOHN HARFORD. b. 1789 Pound Ridge NY. Perhaps the Bountonville area. He married AZILLA WOOD b.1790 Ct. or NY.
I'm sure there is a connection with EPHRAIM HARFORD b. abt 1757 d. 1825 buried in Pound Ridge.
He married RUTH SCOFIELD and I have list of children and 2 names are missing.. Good possiblity that my JOHN was one of them... JOHN AND AZILLA had CHARLES, BETSY, THOMAS AND JOSEPH.
This EPHRAIM could be related to Orange Co. Harfords... Hoping someone has more info on these HARFORDS. (HARTFORD, HANFORDS)... thank you. Sandee from NH
