WOODHULL - Henry D. Hargrave, 77, died Sunday evening at 6:45pm at St James Mercy Hospital in Hornell, where he had been a patient for the past five days. He had been in falling health for the past several months.

Born in Rathbone, Apr 15, 1873, he was the son of William & Jane Hazelton Hargrave.

He had been employed as a carpenter and stone mason for many years. Mr. Hargrave made his home with his niece, Mrs. Frank Hallett of Canisteo, prior to his death.

Survivng are: two sons, Everitt of Albion and Hugh, address unknown; one sister, Mrs. William Halninen of Cameron; several grandchildren.

The body was removed to the Smith Funeral Home in Woodhull, where friends may call and where services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 pm (DST). The Rev. Atwood Allen, pastor of the Woodhull Baptist Church will be in charge and burial will be made in the Northrup Street Cemetery in Rathbone.

CAMERON MILLS - Mrs Florence V. Hargrave, 66, of Cameron Mills, died at St James Mercy Hospital in Hornell this morning following a long illness.
A native of the Town of Rathbone, she was a member of the Cameron Mills United Methodist Church. Mrs. Hargrave was a retired practical nurse.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur; one step-daughter, Mrs. Neva Dennis of Pine City; one sister, Mrs. Edith Montgomery of Webster; two step-grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7 to 9-pm Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Wednesday at the H.P. Smith and Son Funeral Home in Woodhull, where a funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm Thursday with the Rev. Lewis Garlick, officiating.
Burial will be in Woodhull Cemetery.

He married the former Veva D. Hargrave, 04 Jun 1944.
He is survived by his wife, Veva, 2 sons, Stephen W. Jackson of Woodhull R.D. 2, and Sgt. Mark Jackson of Point Mugu Marine Air Station, California. 2 daughters, Mrs. Jacklinn Davis and Mrs. Faye Guild both of Woodhull R.D. 2; 4 brothers, Marion Jackson of Woodhull, Hugh Jackson of Elkland, PA, Ford Jackson of Port Townsend, Washington, and Earl Jackson of Stafford, New York; 2 sisters, Mrs. Mary Swanke of Rochester and Lenora Jackson of Elkland, PA, and 7 grandchildren.
The body was taken to the H. P. Smith & Son Funeral Home in Woodhull. Friends called Wednesday evening and Thursday. Funeral services were conducted Friday at 2pm., Rev. Michael D.
