From the Weekly Republican newspaper (De Soto, Missouri), 24 February 1905 issue, page 5:

"Obituary"
William Harmony, aged 89 years, died in St. Louis last Friday morning. His remains were brought here on Saturday, and Sunday they were interred in the city cemetery. Mr. Harmony was born in Pennsylvania in 1815 and came to this county when a young man. He resided here until about two years ago, when he went to St. Louis to live with some of his relatives, his wife having died about five years ago.
The funeral services were held at the home of C. W. Harmony and were conducted by Rev. Wm. B. North of the M. E. Church, south.
