"Death of Christian Harmony"
Christian Harmony, for nearly forty-five years a resident of Loramie township, died at his home on Thursday morning. He was born near Chambersburg, Franklin county, Pa., April 14, 1807, and was therefore in the 86th year of his age. In 1834, in the county whence he came, he was married to Miss Elizabeth Palmer and In 1847 he came West, locating on the farm where he always lived afterward, with the exception of about two years. To them were born six children - three sons and three daughters, and of these all the sons and one daughter are living. Mrs. Harmony, who was a most estimable woman, died in 1889. The subject of this sketch was well known in the western part of the county, and was highly esteemed for the virtues that always are remembered when things of earth have passed away. The funeral will take place at 10 o'clock Saturday morning, the burial being near Houston.
