Elmer W. Harms, 86, of West Mifflin, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008. Beloved husband for 59 years of Rose M. Harms; loving father of Dennis (Adrienne), Steven and the late Ronald Harms; father-in-law of Sharon Mikrut; brother of Gilbert and Frederick Harms; grandfather of Crystal, Kelly, John, Tamara, Jason and Stephanie; and is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren. Elmer served his country in the Army as a veteran of World War II. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, where services will be held at noon Saturday.
