Surnames: Harper, Gossett, West, Tucker, Gregory, Calvert, Sadler, Bean, Josey, Mayes, McDonald, Tooley
Joel Hillmon Harper and Amanda Gossett were my great-grandparents. Their 9 children were William Harrison "Harry"Harper m. Lucy Myrtle"Miss Lucy" West--(my grandparents), Herbert "Hub" Harper m. Alice Tucker, Charlie Harper m. Lena Gregory, Clarence Riley Harper m. Bertha May Calvert, Ludie Adeline "Lou" Harper m. James Joseph Smith "Son" Saddler, Brasier Harper m. William Bean, Sallie Harper, Neal Harper m. Maude Josey, and Edd
Harper m. Bertha Saddler.
"Harry" and "Miss Lucy" children were Cressie Mae Harper m. Eldrid Mayes--(my parents), Charles Joel Harper m. Helen McDonald, Hillmon Thomas Harper m. Thelma Tooley and William Harrison Harper Jr. died at age 3.
