Their offspring were Cornelius b1858, My greatgrandfather Denis b 1860, Ellen b1861, John b1863, Michael b1865, Daniel b1867, Patrick b1868 and Andrew b1870. Birth register listes them as being from Gortnaclohy. Denis was a national school teacher who married Ann Connolly and lived and raised 6 children in Skibbereen.
