I am looking for the parents of Nancy Jane Harris, purportedly born 1783, Albemarle, VA. She married John Pennington, possibly in Tennessee, around 1800. I am also looking for living female descendants of any of her daughters: Mary Polly Pennington, b. 1804, Lydia Ann, b. 1805 (married Bird Billings),Christina, b. 1810, Rachel b. 1813. I need volunteers for mtDNA testing to see if my 4th great-grandmother, Nancy Jane, born 1806, TNN, married John Billings, was a dtr. of John and Nancy Jane Pennington. If Nancy Jane was a dtr. of this family, then her female descendants will match with my mtDNA.
