Hello everyone. I am trying to locate information on a John Brock Harrison born according to what little info that I can find circa 1778/80 in Berkely (don't have a clue if they mean county or the home) He married Martha Hawkins and had several children in Virginia, While traveling to Texas to do some survey work for the US, Martha became ill and was left in TN with the Sharp family who had also moved from VA to TN. 3 of the Harrison girls married Sharp boys and eventually made their way into Mississippi. I know that John didn't just appear, but I can find nothing to give me any info on his family. As with lots of Harrisons we have the tales of being connected to the Presidents, etc....if you are from this area and can't link your family to the Harrisons or Robert E. Lee, you just arn't a true southerner!! I appreciate any direction that you can point me in... Thanks, Marilyn
