HART, JOHN MARION My grampa died Saturday, February 7, 2004. He was born July 11, 1923, in Georgia, and grew up in Daytona Beach. Grampa helped his father deliver ice in the old days. He joined the Navy and served as a radioman in World War II. During that time he met someone named Ruth Kieling, in Jacksonville, who turned out to be his soul mate, and my grandma. They were married on May 22, 1945 (their wedding anniversary happens to be on my birthday). They were happily married until February 28, 1997 when Ruth passed away. They were very much in love all 52 years. John and Ruth will be inurned together. My mom, grampa and I have lived together since I was born in 1990. We lived in Chula Vista, California, in the same house he bought in 1948. Grampa got a Degree in Engineering from the University of Michigan, and worked as an Electronics Engineer for Rohr and Teledyne Ryan. A few years ago we moved to Ramona, then, last Easter he moved to Green River Wyoming with one of his sons, Walt, and his wife, Lisa, who is a minister. His only brother, Lonnie Ellery, passed away just weeks before him. Survivors include-Children-Charles, Walter and Kathryn; Grandchildren-Marian, Christopher, Richard and Matthew; Great-Grandchildren-Cj, John and Jordan, and then there ' s me, Krystyl, I ' m 13, I ' m another one of his Grandchildren. John Hart was loved by many, and will be missed very much. A memorial is scheduled for February 19, 1 p.m., at Chula Vista Community Church, 301 J Street.
