Hi Gerry
I know there may be no connection, but its worth a try, I'm searching for my 3 x grt grandfather William, his son Daniel was born in 1826, Rowley, I have Daniel as living on Dudley Road Wolverhampton in the 1841 census, age 15 and a miner, he lives with the Spruce family and later married Sophia Spruce. William was a cordwainer by trade at the time of Daniels marriage. The marriage certificate is the only info I have on William and would appreciate any help you can offer.
