My Hartman family came from the villages of Winterkasten and Rohrbach by Reichelsheim, Hesse-Darmstadt, Germany.
Three brothers, sons of Leonard and Anna (Falter) Hartman,
came to America. George born 1 Feb 1713 and Adam born 23 Feb 1714 came in 1752, Philip born 11 Nov 1718 came in 1754. All three settled in Berks County, PA. Philip's youngest son, John Adam Hartman settled in Lycoming County, PA about 1810. Anyone who might be connected to these Hartmans is welcome to contact me. I have a great deal of family data.
