Hartshorns - Thurmaston Leicestershire

Hi folks, have just joined the site and may be able to help anyone whose family originates from Thurmaston. My Grandfather Joseph Tyrrell lived there all his life and was a local councillor and Methodist Church stalwart. I was born there 1937. With aid of two cousins I have a comprehensive family tree from 1650. I always thought Thurmaston was the 'centre' for Hartshorns as it is the main name in the village but I see we are from further afield also. Mail me if I can help Mick
