Thanks for this. Not sure about Harriet, but your mention of Drusilla is interesting, and I believe you are in contact with Sandra Shiel also, as she is descended from the Drusilla b1854 Oldbury.
Since posting the original message back in June 2004, Sandra and I have been working on and off filling in some more details. We may have found some additional children for Samuel and Elizabeth (nee EVANS) - with a Daniel bc1833, Mary bc1835, Samuel bc1837& Gertrude bc1844. So, we now have two common, but fairly unusual names, between your family and our -Drusilla particularly and Daniel.
We haven't as yet, been able to go any further back than Samuel, but when we do, (there is optimism for you), then we may find a link between our families.
It would be good to get a little more info on your line, and I am happy to share what we have got so far. Pls email me direct
